ReuseHeat project

This web site is a part of the ReUseHeat project (recovery and reuse of excess heat at urban level) funded by the European Union as a part of the Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation, started in october 2017. Its purpose is to develop innovative, modular and replicable system allowing the recovery and reuse of wasted heat at urban level. EDF is one of the 17 european members of the project, collaborating with Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur and CSTB.

Other ReUseHeat demonstrators

This website is a demonstrator among others (energy recovery from a data center heat in Brunswick, a subway station cooling system in Berlin, and the operating room cooling system of an hospital in Madrid) intended to prove the efficiency of heat reuse systems and to serve as models for other future projects.
